Description
This is an original WWII U.S. M1910 canteen. Following the unsuccessful trial of porcelain enamel M1942 canteens, Southeastern Metals Company of Decatur, Alabama returned to using aluminum, again producing M1910 canteens, like this 1945-dated example, with vertical seams.
