Description

Die Kunst: Monat Shefte für Freie und Angewandte Kunst, or The Art: Monthly Magazines for Fine and Applied Arts was a long-standing, illustrated publication of German art, architecture, and interior design. This bound set, Volume 71-72, contains all issues from the year 1935, two years after Adolf Hitler became chancellor. It offers unrivaled access into Germany's steady eschewing of Entartete Kunst, or degenerate art.

Provenance

The Dayton Art Institute, Dayton, Ohio
