Description
This is an original Korean War U.S. 8th Air Force enlisted man's service shirt. It was manufactured on June 17, 1952, by Walbern Mfg. Co. It is constructed of a tropical-weight khaki wool material. It is a size 15 1/2 x 34 but please refer to the Measurements section for more details. It retains its original USAAF collar discs, 8th Air Force shoulder sleeve insignia patch, a matching set of staff sergeant's rank insignia patches, and on the wearer's left cuff, a two-years overseas service patch.
Provenance
In July of 2025, Gustafson's acquired the inventory of Circa1941. This piece was among those acquisitions.
