Description

This is an original Korean War U.S. rear seam swivel loop M-1 helmet shell. Marked inside is actually a WWII Army Service Number of "32770395" and then again, with its last four digits, "0395". This service number belongs to Corporal Martin L. Krupinski. Unfortunately, we could not locate any evidence of continued service after WWII, as such there remains a substantial research opportunity for its new owner. This helmet was manufactured by McCord Corp. of Detroit, Michigan and exhibits a lot number of "M-177A", approximately dating its production from 1951 to 1953.
