Description
This is an original La Bannière de Biarritz wartime newspaper, published on July 25, 1945. Following V-E Day, the U.S. Army opened a university for now-inactive servicemen and women in Biarritz, France, requisitioning many of the town's seaside hotels and manors in the process. La Bannière de Biarritz was its student newspaper. Its articles range from opinions about surrendered German soldiers to relaxing activities on the coast. This newspaper consists of just a single page, making it an ideal candidate for framing.
