Description

This is an original post-WWII U.S. Army Ike jacket. It was manufactured on June 30, 1949, by Franklin Clothes, Inc. Both sleeves exhibit remnants of shoulder sleeve insignia patches and there looks to have once been a Reserve Officer Training Corps honor unit patch on the wearer's right cuff. It is labeled size "34S" but please refer to the Measurements section for more details. Its lining is faintly inscribed with its original owner's laundry number.

Provenance

Personal Collection of Chelius Carter
