Description

This is an original post-WWII U.S. Army M1943 field jacket manufactured on June 26, 1946, by Whitewater Garment Co. It is constructed of an olive drab cotton material. Its lining is inscribed "PORTER, E. C., 1235128 PFC". Unfortunately, a search of the National Archives did not reveal a match, as such there remains a substantial research opportunity for its new owner. This jacket is a size 34R but please refer to the Measurements section for more details.
