Description
This is an original WWII German M35 helmet. It still retains its original parade finish light green paint; however, its original decals appear to have been painstakingly removed. The inside brim is size stamped "Q62", along with the lot number of "2932", denoting 1936 production by the Quist, Esslingen factory. After careful examination of the decals' remnants and cross-referencing with German Helmet Lot Numbers 1935-1945, it is likely that this helmet was originally issued to the Polizei. It comes with its original non-reinforced aluminum liner band. The split pins and washers are all original and show no signs of tampering.
