Description
This is an original pre-WWII U.S. Army enlisted man's M37 service shirt. It is constructed of a "mustard" color wool flannel material. Its manufacturer's label has since been removed. It was post-production marked size "13 x 33" but please refer to the Measurements section for more details. On the wearer's right sleeve, it retains its original pre-war Reserve Officer Training Corps honor unit patch. Inscribed on the front's interior is the surname "ASKEW". A search of the National Archives unfortunately reveals too many results to be conclusive.
Provenance
Personal Collection of Chelius Carter
