Description
This is an original Vietnam War U.S. M-1 helmet liner. It features black-painted steel A-washers and an OD#7 (green) suspension. Unfortunately, its manufacturer's and production date markings have faded beyond legibility; however, it likely dates to the late-1960s. The suspension comes complete with an original 1976-dated headband. The exterior retains its original olive drab factory finish.
Provenance
In July of 2025, Gustafson's acquired the inventory of Circa1941. This piece was among those acquisitions.
