Description
This original Vietnam War U.S. M-1 helmet liner is identified to Sergeant First Class (SFC) Earl F. Hudson, 458-52-5077. View the Veteran's Information section for more details regarding SFC Hudson's life and military service. This helmet liner features black painted steel A-washers and an OD#7 (green) suspension. The suspension is dated March 19, 1969. It comes complete with its original 1972-dated headband manufactured by Steinberg Bros., Inc. Inscribed on the headband's reverse is SFC Hudson's full name and Army Service Number (ASN). The liner's exterior retains its original olive drab factory finish.

Veteran's Information
Earl Frank Hudson was born on October 27, 1937. During the Vietnam War, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He was wounded in action for which he received the Purple Heart, in addition to the Air Medal with two Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters. He died on December 26, 2010, at the age of 73 and is buried at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. Made available to the new owner below is Hudson's gravesite.
