Description

This is an original Vietnam War U.S. rear seam swivel loop M-1 helmet shell. It was manufactured by McCord Corp. of Detroit, Michigan and exhibits a lot number of "M 336 A". This is one of 325,000 helmets produced by McCord in 1965. The helmet retains its original olive drab factory finish, texture, OD#7 (green) chinstrap remnants, and black painted steel chinstrap brackets, which are stamped with small anchors, denoting production by North & Judd.
