Description
This is an original WWI U.S. Army cotton M1912 service tunic manufactured by MacCarthy of St. Louis, Missouri. No size label could be located but please refer to the Measurements section for more details. It retains its original collar discs denoting service in "L" company of the infantry. There appears to have once been a second label stitched to the placket's interior; however, it has since been removed.

Personal Collection of Chelius Carter

For being well over one hundred years old, this tunic is in exceptionally good condition. All of its rimmed buttons are intact and there do not appear to be any significant flaws to the cotton material.
