Description
This is an original pair of WWII German dienstglas 10x50 binoculars. These were produced by Carl Zeiss of Jena, Germany, and bear the factory code marking of "blc", along with the serial number of "2186399". The small "o" located to the right of the factory code would have originally been filled with blue paint and signified that these binoculars were treated with a special lubricant allowing them to withstand temperatures down to -40°Cs. They come with their original leather carrying strap intact.
