Description

This is an original pair of exceedingly rare WWII German dienstglas 8x40 binoculars. Binoculars with this magnification and objective lens diameter were produced in very limited quantities during the war and were most commonly issued to vehicle drivers as well as panzer and grenadier troops. These were produced by Srb & Stys Fabrik Präziser Messinstrumente of Prague, Czechoslovakia, and bear the factory code marking of "bmk", along with the serial number of "98878". They come with their original leather carrying strap intact.
