Description
This is an original WWII German gulaschkanone grease container for the field kitchen. It is stamped with the factory code and production date of "gym 41", respectively.
Provenance
In July of 2025, Gustafson's acquired the inventory of Circa1941. This piece was among those acquisitions.

Unfortunately, this container is in fair condition. It has developed a small pinhole through the bottom and exhibits rust and dents throughout. It has lost much of its original feldgrau finish.
