Description
This is an original WWII German M40 double decal Polizei helmet. The inside brim is size stamped "SE66", along with the lot number of "4970", denoting 1940 production by the Sachsichse Emaillierwerke, Lauter factory. It showcases its original, albeit heavily rusted, feldgraufactory finish. The interior retains its original leather liner remnants. The helmet's split pins and washers are all original and show no signs of tampering.

This helmet is in fair, well used condition. There is rust throughout, and the leather liner is heavily damaged. That said, it displays quite nicely with both original decals still intact.
