Description
This is an original WWII German M42 single decal Luftwaffe helmet. The inside brim is size stamped "NS66", along with the lot number of "D268", denoting production by the Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke, Schwerte factory. It showcases its original feldblau factory finish. The interior retains its original leather liner, drawstring, and chinstrap. The chinstrap exhibits a gray painted steel buckle and is stamped "G. SINGER, KLATTAU, 1944". The helmet's split pins and washers are all original and show no signs of tampering.

This helmet is in good, combat-used condition. There is minor surface rust throughout; however, it displays quite nicely with its original decal still intact. The leather liner's tongues remain intact; however, the chinstrap is unfortunately torn.
