Description
This is an original WWII German M44 Luftschutz gladiator helmet. The M44 differs from its far more common M38 predecessor in that it is constructed of just one piece of pressed aluminum. Atop its original feldblau factory finish is an original Luftschutz decal. The interior retains its original size 56 cloth liner and clear plastic chinstrap. The rear skirt is stamped "RL.239/21". The helmet's split pins and square cork spacers are all original and show no signs of tampering.
