Description
This is an original pair of WWII U.S. Army second pattern coveralls that were reissued to an Air Force master sergeant during the Korean War. Introduced in late-1942, second pattern coveralls were commonly used by stateside paratrooper trainees and USAAF mechanics. This pair was manufactured on November 1, 1943, by The Jay Garment Co. They are constructed of olive drab cotton herringbone twill (HBT) material and retain a matching set of Korean War era master sergeant's rank insignia patches. This pair is a size 38R but please refer to the Measurements section for more details. They retain their original interior gas flap.
Provenance
In July of 2025, Gustafson's acquired the inventory of Circa1941. These were among those acquisitions.
Condition Report
These coveralls are in very good, lightly used condition. All of their original 13-star metal buttons appear to remain intact.
