Description

This is an original WWII U.S. 1/2" camouflage M-1 helmet net of British manufacture. British-made helmet nets were commonly issued to American servicemen prior to the introduction of the U.S.-made "M44" net in late-1944. This example is constructed of OD#7 (green) cotton material. It is displayed here on a fixed loop helmet (not included) but would also be appropriate for swivel loop helmets.
