Description
This is an original and rather uncommon WWII U.S. Army M1943 experimental 2-quart canteen with cover. The cover is constructed of OD#7 (green) webbing and is devoid of any markings. Inside is a collapsible bladder canteen originally intended to replace the M1942 aluminum canteens. It was manufactured by International Latex Corporation of Dover, Delaware in 1945.
