Description
This is an original WWII U.S. Army M1941 wool knit cap, commonly known as the jeep cap. With its short, cardboard-filled visor, these were designed to be worn under the M-1 helmet and were standard issue throughout the Army - worn by paratroopers and airmen alike. This particular example's size label is unfortunately missing.
