Description
This is an original pair of WWII U.S. Army mittens personalized with hand painted insignia of the Alaska Defense Command. They appear to be constructed of cowhide, with wool knit cuffs, and are lined with shearling. The right mitten features an opening on the palm to allow the wearer access to his rifle's trigger. Unfortunately, no size tag or manufacturer's marking could be located.

Condition Report
These mittens are in good, used condition. The Alaska Defense Command insignia remains visible. The leather is soft and pliable, and both the knit cuffs and shearling lining are fully intact.
