Description

This is an original WWII U.S. Army Nurse Corps (ANC) officer's wool service cap. The cap's front is decorated with a gold-plated brass standard sized officer's device by AMCRAFT of Attleboro, Massachusetts. Its lining is inscribed with its original owner's initials, "L.B.", and nearby it is labeled size "22". Unfortunately, no manufacturer's marking could be located.

Provenance

In July of 2025, Gustafson's acquired the inventory of Circa1941. This piece was among those acquisitions.
