Description
This is an original WWII U.S. Army officer's cotton overcoat manufactured on February 3, 1945, by the Philadelphia Quartermaster Depot. It retains its original removable wool lining and belt. Interestingly, secured to the collar's interior is a tag with Chinese writing. Beneath it is a label which reads "MFG'D FOR GOVERNMENTAL, USE ONLY UNDER PATENT, NOS. RE.21676 & 2198064". It is a size 38R but please refer to the Measurements section for more details.

This overcoat is in fair, well used condition. The collar shows signs of wear and there is a vertical tear on the reverse; however, all of its original buttons appear to be intact.
