Description
This is an original pair of WWII U.S. Army officer's regulation service trousers. They are constructed of the iconic, but heavily faded, "pink" wool material. They feature a button fly and non-regulation pleated front. Inscribed on the trousers lining is the name of their original owner, "H. R. Hamner". A search of the National Archives unfortunately reveals too many results to be conclusive. These are actually one of two pairs of trousers available originally belonging to Hamner. A manufacturer's and size label could not be located but please refer to the Measurements section for more details.
Provenance
Personal Collection of Chelius Carter
Condition Report
These trousers are in fair, well used condition. They exhibit stains, heavy fading, and a weakened seat seam.
