Description

This is an original pair of WWII U.S. Army officer's regulation service trousers. They are constructed of the iconic "pink" wool material and feature a button fly. Inscribed on the trousers lining are the names of two different servicemen, "H. R. Hamner" and "I. Briggs". A search of the National Archives unfortunately reveals too many results to be conclusive. These are actually one of two pairs of trousers available originally belonging to Hamner. The manufacturer's and size label has since been removed but please refer to the Measurements section for more details.
