Description

This is an original pair of WWII U.S. Army second pattern coveralls. Introduced in late-1942, second pattern coveralls were commonly used by stateside paratrooper trainees and USAAF mechanics. They are constructed of olive drab cotton herringbone twill (HBT) material. Unfortunately, their manufacturer's label has faded beyond legibility. This pair is a size 40R but please refer to the Measurements section for more details. They retain their original interior gas flap.

Provenance

Personal Collection of Chelius Carter
