Description
This original WWII Berkeley "Windproof" lighter was produced by the Flashlight Company of America in Jersey City, New Jersey. If you're familiar with Henry-Paul Enjames' GI Collector's Guide: U.S. Army European Theater of Operations you may have seen this particular type of lighter featured on the cover. It is inscribed with the initials "E.L.A.", and the laundry number "A-8628", belonging to Eugene L. Adamic, a veteran of the 86th Infantry Division.

Condition Report
The original black painted crackle textured finish is in worn condition and the lighter's aluminum case is somewhat dented. This lighter will require a flint and fluid to function.
