This original WWII U.S. Berkeley "Windproof" lighter was produced by the Flashlight Company of America in Jersey City, New Jersey. If you're familiar with Henry-Paul Enjames' GI Collector's Guide: U.S. Army European Theater of Operations you may have seen this particular type of lighter featured on the cover.

Condition Report
This lighter is in excellent condition, with all of its original black painted crackle textured finish intact. It comes with its original instructions and cardstock box, which is unfortunately missing its top flap. This lighter will require a flint and fluid to function.
