Description
This original WWII U.S. M-1 helmet liner showcases a very impressive field-applied camouflage paint scheme, consisting of several yellow, green and rust-brown tones. It was produced by Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Company of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It features blackened brass A-washers and an OD#3 (khaki) suspension, approximately dating the liner's production from mid-1944 to 1945. The suspension comes complete with its original leather chinstrap with blackened brass buckle and United Carr rivets, a Scholl Manufacturing Co. headband, and a size large neckband also produced by Scholl Manufacturing Co.

This helmet liner is in very good, lightly used condition. The leather components remain pliable.
