Description
This is an original matching set of WWII U.S. M-1 helmet chinstraps, consisting of brass hardware and OD#3 (khaki) webbing. The buckle exhibits the raised bar. This set was recovered from an early-war McCord Radiator & Manufacturing Co. fixed loop helmet but would have also been seen on comparable Schlueter Manufacturing Co. examples.

Condition Report
These chinstraps haven't been cut, only their stitching has been undone, meaning these are still their original length. There is some olive drab paint residue on the webbing and the brass hardware exhibits verdigris.
