Description
This listing is for a single original WWII U.S. M-1 helmet liner neckband; however, two are available. These were both manufactured by Comfort Slipper Corp., are size medium, and exhibit blackened brass United Carr snaps. Brass snaps were utilized for a short time in mid-1942 and then were reintroduced in late-1943 due to brass no longer being considered a scarce material. These would be ideal for helmet liners with either green painted steel or blackened brass A-washers.
The neckband you receive might not be the exact one shown here; however, it will be substantially similar and, of course, original.

Condition Report
These neckbands are in good, used condition. All snaps are intact, the fabric is strong, and their manufacturer's markings are still legible.
