Description

This original WWII U.S. M-1 helmet liner neckband was manufactured by Scholl Manufacturing Co. The earliest OD#3 (khaki) neckbands were produced in three different sizes during the war: 1, 3 and 5. This example, with its "5" marking, is equivalent to a size large. It exhibits steel unmarked snaps. This neckband would be ideal for a helmet liner with non-painted steel A-washers (including Hawleys and low-pressure liners).
