Description
This listing is for a single original WWII U.S. M-1 helmet liner neckband; however, two are available. These were both manufactured by Scholl Manufacturing Co., are size medium, and exhibit blackened brass United Carr snaps. Brass snaps were utilized for a short time in mid-1942 and then were reintroduced in late-1943 due to brass no longer being considered a scarce material. These would be ideal for helmet liners with either green painted steel or blackened brass A-washers.
The neckband you receive might not be the exact one shown here; however, it will be substantially similar and, of course, original.

These neckbands are in good, used condition. All snaps are intact, the fabric is strong, and their manufacturer's stampings remain legible.
