Description
This is an original WWII U.S. M1941 field jacket. The M1941 was the most prevalent field jacket during WWII and was utilized by all branches of the Armed Services. Its outer shell is constructed of an OD#3 (khaki) cotton material, with a "mustard" color wool flannel lining. Its manufacturer's and size labels have since been removed but please refer to the Measurements section for more details. Inscribed on its interior placket is the original owner's laundry number, "M-7660". A search of the National Archives unfortunately reveals too many results to be conclusive.

This jacket is in fair, well used condition. There are several repairs throughout and the top button on the placket is missing; however, its original TALON zipper still functions.
