Description
This is an original WWII U.S. front seam fixed loop M-1 helmet shell. It was manufactured by McCord Radiator & Manufacturing Co. of Detroit, Michigan and exhibits a lot number of "759A", approximately dating its production to late-1943. The helmet retains an original olive drab field repaint, cork texture, and OD#3 (khaki) chinstraps with steel hardware and a flat buckle. Painted in its interior is a white "A".

Condition Report
This helmet shell is in good condition, with wear consistent with that of a combat-used example. There is some tape residue adhered to its exterior.
