Description

This is an original WWII U.S. front seam fixed loop M-1 helmet shell. It was manufactured by Schlueter Manufacturing Co. of St. Louis, Missouri and exhibits a lot number of "43A", approximately dating its production to early-1943. This helmet retains its original olive drab factory finish, cork texture, and OD#3 (khaki) chinstraps with brass hardware and a flat buckle.
