Description

This is an original WWII U.S. rear seam swivel loop M-1 helmet shell. It was manufactured by Schlueter Manufacturing Co. of St. Louis, Missouri and exhibits a lot number of "477A", approximately dating its production to late-1944. The helmet retains its original olive drab factory finish, cork texture, and OD#7 (green) chinstraps with steel hardware and a flat buckle.
