Description

This is an original WWII U.S. M-1 helmet liner. It was produced by Seaman Paper Company of Chicago, Illinois. It features non-painted steel A-washers and an OD#3 (khaki) suspension with folded ends on the neck support, which approximately date the liner's production to late-1942. It comes complete with its original Vogt Manufacturing Co. size large neckband and a recently installed headband. The liner's exterior retains its original olive drab factory finish.
