Description
This is an original WWII U.S. M-1 helmet liner. It was produced by Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Company of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It features blackened brass A-washers and an OD#3 (khaki) suspension, approximately dating the liner's production from mid-1944 to 1945. The suspension has recently been completed with an original L. & N. Specialties headband and a Comfort Slipper Corp. size medium neckband. The liner's exterior retains its original olive drab factory finish.
