Description
This is an original WWII U.S. Army Air Force gold-plated sterling silver miniature rank insignia pin manufactured by G. K. Co., attributed to Goldman Kolber, Inc. of New York, New York. Although its original cardboard box is inscribed "1st Sgt", the pin actually appears to be that of a technical sergeant suspended from a winged propeller, which is marked "STERLING" on its reverse, denoting .925 silver purity.
