Description
This is an original WWII U.S. Army Air Force AN-6550 summer flying suit. The AN-6550 became the most prevalent USAAF flying suit when it replaced the Type A-4 in early-1943. This example was manufactured by Sigmund Eisner Co. of Red Bank, New Jersey. It is constructed of olive drab gabardine wool material. It is a size medium 40 but please refer to the Measurements section for more details.

Condition Report
This flying suit is in fair, well used condition. The wool is well worn, and the leg pockets have been removed and stitched closed. Its original CONMAR zipper remains intact and functional.
