Description
This is an original WWII U.S. Army Air Force AN-6550 summer flying suit from the 44-10465 contract. The AN-6550 became the most prevalent USAAF flying suit when it replaced the Type A-4 in early-1943. This example was manufactured by Rockaway Clothing Co. It is constructed of olive drab gabardine wool material. It is a size 40 medium but please refer to the Measurements section for more details.

Condition Report
This flying suit is in good, well used condition. There is a wartime repair beneath the USAAF shoulder sleeve insignia. Its original TALON zipper remains intact and functional. The white label stitched beneath its collar is heavily frayed.
