Description
This is an original WWII U.S. Navy MK-2 Talker helmet leather chincup. It was also common among paratroopers to use these in their M-2 and M-1C helmet liners by removing the chincup's two retention springs, as was done to this example. It is constructed of russet brown leather and exhibits five adjustment holes on each side.
