Description
This original WWII USN MK I knife was manufactured by PAL Blade Company of Plattsburg, New York. These were the favorites of naval aviators and sailors alike. The ricasso is stamped "RH-35". Interestingly, PAL began as the sold off cutlery division of Remington Arms Company, and "RH" stands for "Remington Hunting". It comes complete with its original scabbard, which was manufactured by Beckwith Manufacturing Company. It is from the "NORD 4723" contract, which dates to November 1943.
