This is an original WWII German Heer Deutsches Afrikakorps (DAK) pith helmet badge. The reverse is marked with an "A", denoting production by Assmann & Söhne of Lüdenscheid, Germany.
Provenance
In July of 2025, Gustafson's acquired the inventory of Circa1941. This piece was among those acquisitions.
